Progress on Kearny’s new athletic fields

Progress is being made on Kearny’s new athletic fields! As part of the voter-approved Proposition S, Kearny’s athletic fields are being renovated, including lights for nighttime athletic events. The estimated completion is Spring 2015.

Minimum Day on Tuesday Due to Heat

San Diego Unified School District has declared another minimum day for all schools without 100% air conditioning on Tuesday. Kearny’s dismissal will be at 1:20 pm. There will be no late busses, practices, or athletic events after school.
